Senior Accountant

- Monthly record of depreciation & amortization expenses and fix assets register conciliation
- Ensure all intercompany invoices are recorded in its proper cost, expense and liability account
- Review that all utilities and recurrent expenses are posted on a monthly basis or accured
- Keep month end intercompany balances reconciled with other Payless entities
- Responsible of the prepaid expenses accounting and amortization
- Run and validate the monthly FX process in SAP
- Nester inventory posting
- Record and balance of intercompany and external loans (interest expense, interes income, principal payments, re financing, etc.)
- Weekly presentation of locations critical payments file
- Record of cost and expenses accruals and its reversals
- Ensure all enties have tax compliance with local authorities (VAT, municipality, income tax, whitholding tax, etc.)
- Suport external auditors with the annual income tax elaboration
- Liaison with external auditors providing information and records explanations during the external audit process
- Monthly expense and cost analysis
- Companies annual budget elaboration
- Yearly forecast submission
- Trial balance monthly review and validation
- Ensure all month end closing activities under his / her responsibility are completed according to the official accounting closing calendar
- Any other activity related to the entites monthly accounting cycle.




- University degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field. Certified Public Accountant certification and master degree will be a plus
- At least three to five years of work experience as senior accountant for an international company
- Abilitty to work multiple tasks, define priorities and meet deadlines
- Bilingual, Spanish & English. Written and spoken
- Knowledge of accounting softwares, preferible SAP
