About Us

Panama Outsource Solutions is searching for a new member of the new accounts team to support one of our customers at our back-office outsourcing center.

We are searching for bilingual English/Spanish speakers who are detail oriented and fast learners with strong customer service skills to join one of our established projects. The job will involve entering and managing new loans and customer accounts in the client system, as well as communicating with both lenders and borrowers during set up, among other duties. To be successful at this job, you must have both an excellent attention to detail as well as a charismatic and outgoing personality, and excellent written and spoken English and Spanish skills.

The job involves answering calls and emails in both English and Spanish from Customers in the United States for a company that services a heavily Hispanic/Latino customer base.

The job will be full time in person in our Obarrio office, close to the Via Argentina metro station. EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY IS A MUST.

Job Schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm (March-November) and 9am-5:30pm (November-March), dependent on US clocks time change.

Job Duties:

The New Accounts Specialist onboards new loans and accounts and provides assistance to both Borrowers and Lenders via inbound and outbound phone and email correspondence.

- Board new and transferred loans into the system
- Ensure required data, information, and images for loan boarding are received
- Research and resolve any data discrepancies for onboarding data received for new and transferred loans.
- Communicate with borrower and lenders via phone and email to initiate welcome calls and answer questions, provide follow-up and follow-through on open issues to resolution
- Manage correspondence and follow-through from insurance agents, Title companies, and Attorneys.
- Create new lender and vendor accounts
- Obtain property tax data using taxing authority websites, online tools or outbound calls to taking authorities to obtain property tax information
- Setup escrow vouchers for property taxes and insurance
- Process Adjustable Rates on mortgages
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Advanced Spanish and English written and verbal skills. Fluent or near fluent English is a must

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Must work well under pressure

Must be able to successfully multitask

Must be proficient in use of computers, the internet, and Microsoft based applications

Prior experience working in financial is preferred, but not required

Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must
