Network engineer

We are looking for a proactive Network Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. The role ensures the availability, performance, and scalability of network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure), supporting our global B2B operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure availability and performance of all corporate, data centre, and cloud networks across the follow-the-sun coverage model.
- Configure, upgrade, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls (Palo Alto), load balancers (F5), and Wi-Fi (Cisco Meraki).
- Perform IP re-addressing, NAT, and level-one diagnostics; engage Cisco TAC and other vendor support for advanced issues.
- Design, deploy, and support cloud networking in AWS and Azure: VPCs, subnets, VPNs, cloud firewalls, hybrid connectivity.
- Prepare schematics and define solutions for new sites, expansions, and cloud integrations.
- Coordinate with vendors for support cases, contract renewals, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Work with NOC team on preventive circuit re-routing ahead of scheduled ISP maintenance.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of network security devices.
- Maintain device inventory and documentation; use automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform).
- Participate in change advisory boards for network-impacting changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 3-5+ years managing enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN).
- Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, F5, or comparable enterprise networking platforms.
- Proven experience with public cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure).
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, 802.11ac/ax, NAT, VPN, VLAN.
- Experience with Cacti, Zabbix or comparable network monitoring tools.
- Strong English communication skills


Preferred
- Experience in B2B and B2C network environments with contractual SLAs.
- Vendor relationship and device lifecycle management experience.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate.
- Scripting and automation: Bash, Ansible, Python, Terraform.
- Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and SD-WAN platforms.
