We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to contribute to our global Technology Operations organisation. The role supports agile, secure, and automated delivery pipelines and platform resilience for cloud-native B2B workloads running primarily on Azure. You will work across CI/CD infrastructure, container orchestration, observability, and system reliability in development, staging, and production environments. As part of a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will partner with Site Reliability, Application, Network, and Security Engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and document CI/CD infrastructure supporting canary deployments, blue/green strategies, and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Automate and manage Kubernetes (AKS) workloads using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps patterns (ArgoCD).
- Support secure, scalable, and cost-optimised container-based deployments across environments.
- Set up and support centralized logging and monitoring pipelines (Graylog, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights, Robusta).
- Implement delivery and runtime standards: configuration and secrets management, cluster backup and recovery (Velero).
- Support cloud-native component integrations: RabbitMQ, Redis Clusters, MinIO.
- Contribute to performance and load testing (JMeter, Taurus) and improve infrastructure for high-volume applications.
- Provide hands-on support for CI/CD or infrastructure delivery issues in production.
- Maintain internal DevOps documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
- Participate in change advisory and release management for production deployments.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering in cloud-native environments.
- Working experience with CI/CD orchestration through GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), container lifecycles, and Helm-based deployments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and GitOps pipelines.
- Solid background in observability and telemetry: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK / Graylog, Application Insights.
- Familiarity with secure infrastructure design: VNETs, private endpoints, secrets, WAFs, SSL.
- Comfortable working in B2B or hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong English communication skills
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with multi-environment workflows, pipeline templating, and deployment gating.
- Knowledge of release strategies: blue/green, canary, feature flags.
- Awareness of cost-conscious infrastructure planning, rightsizing, and cloud quota management.
- Experience with artifact management, container image versioning, and secure delivery practices.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent.
