We are seeking a proactive Collections Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring efficient revenue recovery, maintaining production standards, and ensuring compliance with US state and federal regulations.
This is a full-time, fully on-site position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource for new hires
- Evenly distribute group voicemails to members of the team
- Report daily team attendance to Collection Manager and Director of Operations
- Evenly distribute partial payments made to the team to follow up with consumers for payment on balance
- Monitoring of individual and team results to identify and act on both positive and negative performance
- Maintain, within the team, adequate discipline and adherences to all compliance requirements as established by OM and clients
- Provide talk-offs and handle escalated calls for the team
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have exceptional interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office Proficiency
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Must have strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Mathematical reasoning for metrics analysis
- Working knowledge of the FDCPA, HIPAA, first and third-party collections, and automatic dialer systems etc is a plus
- Must have good critical thinking skill and exercise sound judgment when problem solving and decision making
Education and Experience
- University diploma or equivalent combination of education and professional business experience required
- 1 year+ Experience leading a team in a call center environment
- Experience as a telephone collector is a plus
- Must have excellent English verbal and written communication
