Senior Software Engineer at BairesDev

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers from Portugal, Spain, and Brazil to join our elite development team. This role focuses on code quality and technical leadership across multiple technology stacks, with special emphasis on Python, C#, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Swift, and Verilog. You'll be instrumental in maintaining high coding standards and mentoring development teams.

What You'll Do:

- Lead comprehensive code reviews across multiple programming languages and technology stacks.
- Design and implement sophisticated software solutions following best practices.
- Guide development teams in implementing architectural patterns and quality standards.
- Evaluate and improve testing strategies and code coverage metrics.
- Mentor developers on code quality, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Drive technical decision-making processes and architectural discussions.
- Create and maintain coding standards documentation.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in development practices.

What we are looking for:

- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in one or more of these languages: Python, C#, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Swift, or Verilog.
- Strong understanding of best practices, such as SOLID and clean code, focusing on scalable solutions.
- Extensive experience with code reviews, writing automated tests, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong expertise in unit testing, integration testing, and maintaining high code coverage.
- Demonstrated ability to make informed technical decisions and apply the best approach for each use case.
- IT infrastructure knowledge.
- Must be located in Portugal, Spain, or Brazil.
- Advanced level of English.
