Support Services Group is looking for Support Engineers to join our Panama team. As a member of the team, you will work closely with our client?s search, data, capture, and infrastructure teams to develop and enhance our Go services and cloud data storage infrastructure to enable new features and capabilities, and to continuously improve the capacity, performance, and reliability of our platform.
Some of the types of work you might be doing.
Day-to-day you?ll:
- Write software to deliver features defined in the Product roadmap.
- Engineer systems that operate at tens to hundreds of thousands of requests per second (e.g., Go, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform).
- Collaborate with teammates to craft the strategy and execution for scaling our client?s products and services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot parts of our client?s production environment.
- Help the team plan and prioritize.
We?re looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of software engineering experience working on backend web-based distributed services and applications.
- Has experience using typed languages for backend system development and web stacks in general (e.g., Go, Java, TypeScript, C++)
- Has experience in operating and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Has experience with concurrency and multi-threading.
