We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and skilled High School Math Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, delivering high-quality instruction in various math courses, and fostering students? critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This role requires a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, effective teaching strategies, and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver lessons in accordance with the school?s curriculum and state standards.
- Teach a range of math subjects, including but not limited to Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, and Precalculus.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to measure students' understanding and progress.
- Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages active learning, critical thinking, and respect.
- Provide individual and group support to students who need additional help or enrichment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including grades and attendance.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and other collaborative activities.
- Promote a culture of lifelong learning and mathematical curiosity.
Requisitos:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of high school math curricula and instructional techniques.
- Experience teaching high school students preferred.
- English level B2+
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying levels of ability.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
