Jr. Investment Analyst
This position is responsible for supporting macroeconomic, market, and investment research to assist the firm's investment strategy and client portfolios. The successful candidate will contribute to security selection, portfolio construction, risk management, client reporting, and investment recommendations across multiple asset classes. Beyond traditional investment analysis, the role also supports the firm's broader advisory activities, including private equity, structured financing, capital raising, and other bespoke investment transactions. The Investment Analyst works closely with the Head of Advisory, Portfolio Managers, Operations, and Compliance to deliver exceptional investment outcomes while continuously developing technical expertise and investment knowledge.

Key Responsibilities Investment Research & Strategy
? Assist with macroeconomic, geopolitical, and market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
? Analyze global equity, fixed income, alternative investments, commodities, currencies, and other asset classes.
? Assist in developing investment theses supported by financial, quantitative, and fundamental analysis.
? Prepare research reports, market commentary, and investment recommendations.
? Monitor economic data releases, central bank policy, earnings, valuations, and market developments. Portfolio Management
? Assist in monitoring client portfolios to ensure alignment with investment objectives, mandates, and risk parameters.
? Help identify portfolio risks and recommend appropriate portfolio adjustments.
? Support performance attribution and portfolio analytics.
? Assist in preparing buy, sell, and hold recommendations across equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, structured products, and alternative investments.
? Support asset allocation decisions and portfolio construction.
? Assist in implementing investment decisions and portfolio rebalancing.
? Monitor concentration, liquidity, duration, credit, and other portfolio risks.
? Support the ongoing management of discretionary, non-discretionary, and advisory client portfolios and mandates.
Security Analysis
? Perform company, industry, macroeconomic, valuation, and credit analysis across asset classes.
? Analyze equities, fixed income, structured products, ETFs, mutual funds, alternatives, and other investment securities.
? Assist in evaluating investment managers, funds, and third-party products for performance and client suitability. Client Support & Reporting
? Prepare investment reports, portfolio reviews, and client presentation materials.
? Support Portfolio Managers in communicating investment strategies and market developments to clients.
? Prepare market updates, investment commentaries, and educational materials.
? Support responses to client investment inquiries and requests.
? Participate in client meetings where appropriate.
? Support business development and client origination initiatives by contributing investment research, proposal materials, pitch presentations, and customized investment solutions for prospective and existing clients.
Advisory & Transaction Support
? Support private equity transactions, corporate financing, debt placements, structured finance solutions, and capital raising initiatives.
? Assist with financial modelling, due diligence, investment memoranda, valuation work, transaction analysis, and deal execution support.
? Provide analytical support to the Head of Advisory and Portfolio Managers on strategic transactions and special projects. Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
? Work closely with the Operations and Compliance teams to improve operational workflows and client service.
? Ensure investment activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
? Support onboarding of new investment products and platforms.
? Assist with operational projects that improve efficiency and scalability.
? Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives. Investment Tools & Process Improvement
? Assist in developing financial models and analytical tools.
? Support improvements to portfolio monitoring systems and reporting capabilities.
? Help enhance investment research processes and databases.
? Utilize technology and data analytics to improve investment decision-making.
? Identify opportunities to automate recurring analytical and operational tasks.
Qualifications Education
? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline.
? A Master's degree is considered an asset. Professional Qualifications
? SMV Securities Analyst License (Licencia de Corredor de Valores y Analista) advantageous;
