We are seeking to hire an exceptional Design and Project Management Coordinator to add to our fast-growing Product Development team. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for developing and designing opportunities brought in by the Sales Department. This position combines artistic talent with research on product use, marketing, and materials to create functional and appealing products and presentations. A Project Manager works in conjunction with the sales and manufacturing departments. Is responsible for managing various projects at the same time, while supporting sales to close opportunities by providing quotes and presentations

Responsibilities:

- Prepares presentations, sketches of ideas, illustrations, artwork, or blueprints, using drafting instruments, or computer-aided design equipment.
- Modifies and refines designs, using working models, to confirm with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.
- Evaluates feasibility of design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics.
- Consults and quotes with factories, manufacturing, or sales departments, to establish and evaluate design concepts for manufactured products.
- Supports Sales with pricing, designs and presentations.
- Coordinates the fabrication of models or samples and the drafting of working drawings and specification sheets. ? Prepares custom logo proofs and quotes.
- Participates in new product planning, market research and presentation.
- Works closely with all cross-functional departments to ensure project needs are met.
- Manages budgets and pricing. ? Manages multiple projects at the same time

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in a business environment with strong concentration in design and teamwork.
- Education ? High School Diploma/ ? Degree or formal training: Business, Marketing Design
- English and Spanish Language (written and verbal)
- Ability and flexibility to travel to our corporate office in Miami, FL (Valid Visa required)
- Strong time management practices, detailed oriented and multi-tasking skills required
- Ability to interact well with others; ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats to ensure accurate order entry processing. ? Active Listening

Technical Skills

? Proficient in Microsoft suite programs specifically Powerpoint and Excel

? Experience with Adobe suites, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop

? Knowledge of SketchUP or alternative rendering programs is a plus
