Data Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As part of SER-LAM Engineering team, we are responsible for the development, deploy and Implementation of Digital solutions as part of the core model of our department, candidate is expected to understand the importance of Data Analytics and the structure required to ease the data flow between different departments, purpose of the job is to support existing infra, create new data-pipelines, and detect improvement points for future developments.

- Collaborate in the generation of data-driven solutions making process, within a lean startup pathway and in collaboration of engineering & mobility experts, data engineers, software engineers, HMI designer and devops.
- Understand the importance of data capture aiming for advance IA/ML Algorithm deployment.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

- Define, develop, manage & sustain the dataflow model.
- Design technical solutions for data-driven approach, including engineering and financial impacts.
- Build multi-tenant streaming and data processing in batch and near-real time flows.
- Create and maintain web apps used for maintenance data, operational data, and other data sources acquisitions.
- Ensure the good quality of raw data acquisition to ease further analysis.
- Apply strong testing and quality assurance practices.
- Generate insights from data analysis.
- Create outputs for end users based on data analytics.
- Support projects in their development of data ? driven solutions

Other accountabilities:

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

- Engineering or master?s degree in Computation, Electronics or Mathematics

Desirable:

- PhD in the fields of statistics or machine learning or applied mathematics

Experience

Mandatory:

- Knowledge of the following language: Python or/and R
- Knowledge of Python web development Frameworks (Django,Flask,FastApi)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS. Experience with database management Structured and Non-Structured (SQL, ElasticSearch, etc.)
- Experience with git control and release management and Docker.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of PHM or Predictive Maintenance
- Knowledge of Traffic modelling
- Knowledge of NLP
- Experience in Sequence mining
- Experience with LINUX environment (shell scripting)

- Proven track record for designing stable solution, testing, and debugging.
- Web development and App Deployment
- Ability to collect, model and structure large datasets using R, Python, SQL, etc.
