Bunker Trader

A leading company in the global bunkering industry is looking to add a Bunker Trader to its team in Panama. We are seeking a professional with solid experience in the local and regional bunker market.

About the Role:We are looking for a commercially driven and proactive individual with strong knowledge of marine fuel supply. This role is key in managing and optimizing bunker resources in the Panama market, handling customer inquiries, building strategic business relationships, and supporting the development of an efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities: - Procure competitive bunker resources for the Panama market and strengthen relationships with recognized cargo suppliers.
- Develop relationships with end users and handle bunker inquiries across the Latin American region.
- Collaborate with the global Bunker Marketing team to identify business opportunities in the region.
- Coordinate with the operations team to enhance the supply chain and maintain competitiveness in the local market.


Requisitos:
Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of proven experience in bunker trading.
- In-depth knowledge of bunker resourcing in Panama and strong network with local cargo suppliers.
- Solid understanding of pricing and standard commercial practices in the marine fuel market.
- Skilled in handling bunker transactions efficiently.
- Familiarity with bunker supply operations and logistics in Panama.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
