About Us

Panama Outsource Solutions is searching for a new Bilingual Billing Escalations Specialist to support a customer at our back-office outsourcing center. The Billings Escalations Specialist will be responsible for handling common billing and account access issues for our client, as well as basic technical support troubleshooting.

We are searching for bilingual English/Spanish speakers who are very personable and have strong customer service skills. Candidates should be comfortable handling both phone calls and emails. Excellent written and spoken English is a must. Prior experience in job functions relating to billing, collections, financial transactions, or technical support is strongly preferred.

EXCELLENT PUNCTUALITY AND ATTENDENCE IS A MUST.

Project is full time in person in our Obarrio office, close to the Via Argentina metro station.

Below are some of the essential functions of a Billing Escalations Specialist and queries that you would be handling.

- Charge Review: Due date and date range review, confirm current bill is a final bill, balance review (bill amount does not match with the provider?s website balance), unusual charge descriptions on the bill or credit on the account.
- Inactive/Closed Accounts: Research a bill on the provider?s website that the account shows as inactive.
- Trash Issues: Tenants complain of missed trash pickups.
- Budget Billing/Improve Rate Plan:Research current provider plan and see if a different and lower priced plan is available.
- Account Not Listed: Account number is not listed under profile on the provider?s website.
- Invalid/Missing Credentials: If the utility account does not have credentials on file, the team is unable to reset password or Invalid username/password.
- Bill Credits/Refunds: The account balance has a credit due to a double payment, deposit refund, leak adjustment or the account was closed, and it has a remaining credit that needs to be requested.
- Bill Requests: Bill is not available online or we haven't received it yet.
- Disconnection Escalations: Utility shut off due to non-payment.
- Final Bill with Set Up Complete: The account is set up completely and we got an unexpected final bill.

Requirements:

Advanced Spanish and English written and verbal skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Must work well under pressure

Must be able to successfully multitask

Must be proficient in use of computers, the internet, and Microsoft based applications

Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must

Prior experience in billing support, collections, or technical support is strongly preferred.
