Software developer Telemedicine Platform

We are on the hunt for a skilled and innovative Software Developer to join our team in building a state-of-the-art telemedicine platform focused on personalized weight loss treatments. This role calls for a developer who is adept at creating secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to improve healthcare outcomes. You will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and deployment of our telemedicine service, working closely with a dynamic team to bring this visionary project to life.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the project team to define and implement platform requirements, system specifications, and software architecture.
Develop high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions that comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and best practices in medical software development.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
Work with front-end developers to design and implement user-friendly interfaces.
Integrate third-party services and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
Regularly update the project team with progress reports, identifying any technical risks or challenges and proposing solutions.
Contribute to the creation of documentation for system architectures, code, and user guides.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and propose their adoption where beneficial to project goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in full-stack or back-end development.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages relevant to web application development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
Experience with frameworks and technologies used in developing scalable web applications (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Django).
Knowledge of database design and management (SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of security practices and compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in telemedicine, digital health, or related fields.
Knowledge of or experience with health information protocols and standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7).
Experience with mobile app development (iOS, Android).
