This role requires the candidate to assist customers by responding to queries related to products, store locations, services, general inquiries, policies, and assisting with placing orders while complying with all company policies, procedures, and directives.
- At least two years of related retail customer service experience required; call center experience desired.
- Passion for high-end home essentials. Capable of issue resolution, accessorizing, and providing styling advice.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Respond to queries related to products, store locations, services, general inquiries, and policies.
- Will be required to interact with customers over the telephone, email, and chat.
- Able to assist customers with placing orders and identify opportunities to cross and up-sell.
- Seeks to delight customers, understand their needs, and demonstrate empathy via phone and in writing.
- Ability to thrive in an Omni-channel contact center environment.
- Typing 35-40WPM and advanced computer knowledge with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- A high degree of accuracy with all work and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Positive attitude and open to constructive criticism and continuous improvement in performing job functions.
- Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as required, and/or weekends.
- Prompt adherence to schedule.
- High School Graduate/Equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills.
- Must be able to use multiple mainframes, software, and web-based programs.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands of the work environment.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May be required to handle chats, emails, inbound or outbound telephonic contacts.
- Handling customer inquiries with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
- Providing fast, and effective communication via web-based program(s).
- Offering alternative solutions where appropriate.
- Cross-selling and up-selling.
- Working in one or multiple skill sets over various customer contact channels.
- Any additional duties that are necessary due to the needs of the business.
