About the Role

We are looking for compassionate, customer-focused, and highly organized Medical Transportation Customer Service Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers requesting non-emergency and urgent medical transportation services.

You will coordinate transportation requests, gather accurate information, communicate with dispatch teams, and ensure patients receive timely and efficient transportation. Some calls may involve patients in critical health conditions, requiring you to remain calm, empathetic, and professional while following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Answer inbound calls from patients, family members, healthcare facilities, and medical providers requesting transportation services.
- Schedule, modify, and coordinate medical transportation appointments.
- Verify patient information and accurately document transportation requests.
- Assess transportation needs while adhering to company procedures and service guidelines.
- Prioritize urgent requests according to established protocols.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with patients, dispatch teams, drivers, and healthcare facilities.
- Provide accurate information regarding transportation status, estimated arrival times, and service updates.
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Escalate emergency or high-risk situations according to company procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions in the company's systems.
- Meet quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA/privacy and confidentiality requirements when handling patient information.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma required; college studies are a plus.
- Previous experience in Customer Service, Call Center, Healthcare Support, Medical Scheduling, Dispatch, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English B2/C1 English proficiency.
- Spanish communication skills are a plus.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM or scheduling systems is preferred.
- Ability to type accurately while speaking with customers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
