Medical Billing Specialist

As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for billing, bookkeeping, and ensuring that claims are processed and paid in a timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Bill monthly for services rendered, ensuring claims are received and processed.
- Process Medicaid, managed Medicaid, Hospice, Medicare coinsurance, and insurance claims
- Issue and manage private billing statements.
- Check the Medicare and Managed Care billing process to ensure accuracy
- Conduct aging reviews and ensure collections goals are met


Requisitos:
Requirements:

- Proven experience in medical billing with the ability to follow up on denials, correct discrepancies, and manage the billing cycle.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Hospice, and private pay billing is a plus
- Candidates must be Panamanian citizens or hold a valid work permit for employment in Panama
- Minimum Educational requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced-Level English language skills.
