Food and Beverage Director Restaurant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Director / Restaurant Manager to lead the overall operations of a well-established restaurant located in Casco Antiguo, Panama. This leadership role requires a proactive professional with strong administrative, operational, and people management skills to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently while delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position and possess advanced English proficiency, as the role requires effective communication with both local and international clients, suppliers, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
-Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the restaurant.
-Lead and supervise all restaurant staff, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.
-Manage purchasing activities and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
-Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency.
-Oversee the restaurant's administrative and accounting processes.
-Coordinate payroll preparation and ensure accurate employee compensation.
-Manage Human Resources functions, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee performance follow-up.
-Develop work schedules and supervise staffing requirements.
-Monitor operational costs and implement strategies to improve profitability.
-Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
-Prepare operational reports and provide recommendations to improve business performance.
